What to expect on Race Day

Less than one day to go before the race. You might want to know about the bathroom facilities, security arrangements or the awesome petting zoo. Read on.

On Race Day

We recommend arriving between 6:00 and 6:15 am. The warm up session starts at 6:30 am.Start time is 7:00 am,

  • Doctor on duty - In case of medical emergencies there will be a doctor on duty on the day

During the Race

Things you might want to know about the race

  • Olympian Bert Cameron as starter - The race will set off by our own Bert Cameron, 1988 Olympic silver medalists and sportsman of the year (1981 - 1983)
  • Security on route

After the Race

We know that some of you have other Sunday activities planned, but don't run off as soon as you finish. The following activities will take place:

  • Group photos - taken after the race
  • Free blood pressure checks after race
  • Petting Zoo on site
  • Poetry reading after race
